Founded in 1975, as the Trinity Arts Foundation, ARTSNET evolved from the Trinity Arts Guild. ARTSNET officially received its nonprofit status in 1978.

Located between the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, ARTSNET serves 16 cities: Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga and Westlake. In addition it serves the seven school districts: Birdville, Carroll, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw, Grapevine-Colleyville, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Keller and Northwest as well as private and home schools. For over 30 years ARTSNET has worked to become an integral partner with the cities, schools, and businesses, including state and national organizations. ARTSNET is committed to developing and implementing ways to encourage arts and education to the residents of North Tarrant County. Raising awareness that art, culture and entertainment are vital to the economic well being of our communities, not to mention the vast healing tool the arts can be.

ARTSNET has been recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts as the official arts council of North East Tarrant County since 1997. Since that time ARTSNET has granted over $600,000 with a match totaling over 1.2 million dollars for the arts in North Tarrant County. These grants support art programs for at-risk youth, school children; children who have lost loved ones, senior citizens and emerging arts groups.

For the past 25 years, ARTSNET in conjunction with the cities of North Tarrant County has been presenting visual and performing arts concerts free and open to the public. Presenting local, national and international artists as well as new emerging artists.

Since 1995, over 2500 students have attended Summer Arts College with 395 scholarships. This unique opportunity for children ages 6-15 to be a part of an imaginative, fun week long, cultural experience held throughout North Tarrant County. Participation in the Summer Arts College opens up children’s worlds and minds and offers them skills they need for a bright future.
