Script liners, # 0 or # 1
Flat Nylon, Synthetic
Mongoose (my favorite) or Sable Brushes, variety of sizes, # 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
Blending brushes – Very soft
sable or nylon brushes will do.
Paint:
For underpainting:
Burnt Sienna
Raw Umber
Flake White or Flake White
Hue (doesn’t have the lead in it like regular Flake White. I use Flake white
because it dries faster than Titanium or Zinc. or Titanium white acrylic (if
painting with acrylics)
For glazing:
Burnt Sienna
French ultramarine
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium red medium
Cadmium yellow medium
Caput Mortem Violet oil
(Rembrandt)
Stil De Grain Yellow
(Rembrandt) – optional
Glaze Medium
For Oils: Linseed oil &
Liquin
For Acrylics: A drying
