Session I : August 18 through September 29 (no class Sept 1)

Session II: October 6 through November 10

1^st grade through 6^th  9:30am-10:30am

5^th grade & up 10:35am-11:35am

One Session: 6 classes for $90 due upon registration

Two sessions: 12 classes for $170 due upon registration

No registration fee, no supply fees

Minimum 4 students per class/Maximum 10 students per class

Classes introduce students of all ages to different art media and techniques.  Students are placed in classes based on age and ability.  All students increase their visual perception, confidence, listening skills, problem solving abilities and increase their self esteem.

Older students learn the fundamentals of design and composition.  They cover line, value, color, shape, size and direction.  The principles used are unity, conflict, dominance, repetition, alternation, balance, harmony and gradation.  We encourage exploration of charcoal, pastels (chalk, oil and water) watercolor, acrylics, watercolor pencils, sculpture and more depending upon session...

Young Students develop fine motor skills and explore their creativity through age appropriate drawing, painting, construction, paper mache, clay dough and a wide variety of fun activities.  Famous artists, art history and color theory are introduced at various levels.  Activities depend upon session.
